HOW IT’S BUILT

Colombian cowhide, cut and assembled by hand in Pasto, Nariño. Raw-edge construction — no folded seams, so every exposed edge is painted by hand with ink matched to the leather. 15 × 11 in · 38 × 28 cm. Reference 2117-AG.

Leather finishes — Graso: oil-tanned, deepens with use. Natural: vegetable-tanned, untreated surface. Cross: textured grain. Hoja Seca: dry-leaf tone.

WHERE IT CAME FROM

The workshop took this one on before anyone there had finished a raw edge. Without folded seams every exposed edge has to be painted by hand, and the ink to match the leather did not exist locally. The process was worked out on the floor, one attempt at a time, until it held.

WHO MADE YOURS

Every piece is cut, assembled and finished by hand in a workshop in Pasto, Nariño. The design was worked out there, on the floor, with the people who build it.
